After 13 years of being ignored and blatantly overmedicated i have been treated repeatedly with disrespectful and rude, antagonistic behavior , by a va employee for the last time. A supposed healthcare proffesional in a position of power, gave me very extremely bad medical advice [ concerning stopping a particular medication without tapering the dose], causing monthes of excrutiating pain and misery and deppession.

This clinic is not voluntary and required for continueing treatment. When asking the Dr about said advice as well as several charting errors at best or possibly blatant Fabirications,, was belittled and basically told that my wife Of 40 years[caregiver present at every appt] and myself are lieing ,that no such advice was ever given, and that I should get over it. When we protested we were threatened with legal action and appartently she has at least attempted to interfere with our use of other va programs that We participate in, and for my trouble now have problems with other providors at this hospital [undoubtedly her freinds] as well . Because of the abusive treatment we decided to voice record our appts with this person.

She stopped the appt called security then told us there is a Va policy that prohibits recording veterens own appts. Upon investigation through the facilitys own patient advocate and security office, no such policy exists at that facility or any other va hospital in this country,so were being lied to yet again only now its on "tape". Then she continues the harrasment by flagging my patient files with comments that are not even grounded in reality and verifiable in other parts of my own charts. I wish to complain to her superiors but seriously fear that this lunatic [or her associates] will retaiate further and will [read already have] Jeprodize my health.

THIS INSECURE NAZI IS IN THE TOP 5% OF THE BUEROCRACY AT THIS HOSPITAL WITH NO ONE TO STOP HER.

"Complaining to the patiant advocate is futile. How can we rein in the abuse of veterens when the entire va system is this broken?

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

This is spot on with lots of the VA Quacks. Enough is enough with an operational budget of 200 Billion we should have better doctors.

I recently had a meeting with the patient advocate in the VA clinic located in Lima, Ohio. I expressed the usual complaints of most veterans including my own.

The advocate stated I did not represent them and as she too was a veteran was quite satisfied with the VA healthcare she was receiving.

As she is not only the patient advocate she is also the clinic manager. Of course she is satisfied because she is their boss and those doctors and nurses in HER facility are going to give her the best healthcare possible.

I am sorry that you had to go through this! My brother, also, goes to the VA, and is highly discouraged about his treatment there!

When trying to phone in his refills lately, he was put on hold forever, and hung up on several times! This is just one example of his discouragement there! Since he is a veteran, like you, he has to get his health care there, but did get Medicare, part B, so that he can go to other doctors! He should not have had to do this, as he served his country!

I feel that they need to do a complete overhaul at the VA, and make the system right for the veterans! This is nonsense!
